Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY)
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY) is a comprehensive scheme aimed at modernising the agricultural processing sector by developing advanced infrastructure and creating an efficient supply chain from farm to retail. The core purpose of the scheme is to ensure better prices for farmers, reduce wastage of agricultural produce, and generate employment opportunities in rural areas. The scheme is implemented by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI).
